One of my fave pics of my Daddy and I’m told that big headed baby is me. He’s gone now but every time I hear a few notes of Beethoven or Tchaikovsky I’m right back there in the living room with him. #missmydaddy#1812overture
Spent a half hour staking the perfect spot only to have someone stand in front of me. Still managed to get this decent shot. Wish there wasn't any caution tape in the picture.
Either way, hope to get more photos next Saturday.

Hearing an orchestra play Tchaikovsky’s 1820 Overture has been on my bucket list for a long time, and I almost got to check it off my list tonight. Why can’t I you might ask, since The Atlanta Symphony did in fact play it tonight? I’ll tell you why. Because the overwhelming majority of the people you see in attendance here didn’t understand that, to truly appreciate the music they were there to hear, they needed to shut their pie holes long enough to actually listen to it. The ambiance and atmosphere of the event would have been amazing had it not been impossible to really hear the orchestra playing during the quieter passages due to the constant crowd noise. Made me want to go around with a roll of duct tape and tape people’s mouths shut with it. #PerformanceInThePark#TheAtlantaSymphonyOrchestra#PieHoles#1812Overture#WeLoveAtl
