🚨 Chocolate Protein Balls 🚨 . Shout out to @amy__currie for this recipe! The ones I made are a little different from hers. I didn’t have the same flavor protein, and I didn’t have quick oats. But I made it work, and damn these are a tasty treat for when that sweet tooth kicks in. . . INGREDIENTS: •1/2 Cup Almond Butter (or peanut butter) •1/2 Cup Almond Milk (coconut or cashew Milk) •3 Tablespoons Cacao powder (unsweetened) •3/4 Cup Old Fashion Oats •3 Scoops Level-1 Vanilla Ice Cream Protein Powder (free shipping link in bio) •3 Tablespoons Mini Chocolate Chips . . Humpppoo daaaay! Today I decided to try something new. JUMP SQUATS. I was nervous at first, but I was able to push through and do 4 sets of 12 with 10 pounds on each side. May not seem like a whole lot, but to me it was a mental and physical accomplishment! I’ve been really pushing myself to up the weight I lift. Courage isn’t always easy to have. I’m strong because when I wanted to quit, I pushed it for a few more reps instead. 🥞!!!PROTEIN PANCAKES!!!🥞 . . You guys asked for it and here it is! If you don’t already, follow @jenna_fail. I got this recipe her from her page and modified it just a smidge. . INGREDIENTS: •1/2 scoop Level-1 vanilla ice cream protein powder •1 medium banana •1/2 cup old fashion oats •1 cup of liquid egg whites • dash of cinnamon . PROTEIN GLAZE: •1/2 scoop of level 1 vanilla ice cream protein • add almond milk to desired consistency . DIRECTIONS: . Combine all ingredients into a blender. Blend, and cook as you would regular pancakes. Add any fruit of your choosing to top. Then pour glaze on top of pancakes and sprinkle cinnamon on top (I accidentally put a lil too much) . That’s it guys! Easy, and tasty! 💯REALITY CHECK: There are going to be times when you’ll find yourself “down in the dumps” no matter how certain you are about; what it is you want, how you’re pursuing it, and where you expect it to lead. This passed week, I experienced what I thought was a lack of motivation but realized that I was just overwhelmed from the amount of transitioning. After spending a whole week in bed and remaining distant from the people close to me, I grew a stronger conscious to my want, my reason, along with my purpose.
