Just picked up 100 North Carolina voter registration forms. The Moon and You will have these available TONIGHT at Noble Cider Taproom, so come hang after work! We're playing early, 6-8pm with drum magician Ryan Lassiter. I don't know about you, but I sure am ready to get some folks signed up to VOTE!

Who is Nick Leonard? And why is he running for U.S. Senate? Nick was born and raised in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. From an early age, Nick had a passion for civic engagement, and especially for the values we hold dear in our democracy. While he doesn’t ride a tricycle anymore, his commitment to civic activism and public service remain. He wants MN voters to have a choice in the special election to fill former Sen. Al Franken’s seat. He checks every box for what progressive voters want to hold true to the legacy of Paul Wellstone and Al Franken: a life-long commitment to engaging people, communities and working for causes that promote justice, equity and fairness for all.
It has been one of my greatest honors to campaign alongside you. Thank you, @laura_oatman, for your passion to help move America forward. Through unity, we will flip the 48th.

Implicit. Bias. Racism within our [Black] race. Complacency. Hypocrisy. The NEW new #jimcrow ... I always focus on the positive that I can push out of every situation, albeit negative, counterproductive or productive. At this venue, Race & Justice, hosted by Collette for Candidates of Color, the undertone was parading elite Black judicial and legal officials as model examples of change for Black communities... and markedly the parade is intentionally limited to an audience of their own “clique.” Such has inspired me to start the discussions I planned to launch later in the year ... EARLIER. So, here goes. I have established a #youtubechannel exclusively for interactive discussions. You’ll be able to call in and join the discussions live. If I identify a better platform than YouTube to facilitate these discussions I’ll make the transition smooth for all who participate. I look forward to hearing from you, and getting real about the nonsense our communities face day after day... month after month... year after year! #seetigressrun#commissioner#ordinance#legislation#letsdothis#equality#equalsmeansequal#may8#may8th#primary#2018elections#2018election

Thanks to @corybooker for a selfie mulligan since I looked a little extra in the last one we took back in happier pre-November 2016 days. I was feeling real drained from the day on the Hill but glad I made it out to support #Senate#Dems in 2018. Let's do this.
