One of the perks about my new desk job is having a gym in the building to workout on my lunch break! The time is short and precious so I put every minute to use!
By time I incorporate changing time, I have about 30-40min to actually workout. So I divide my time up accordingly:
5 min warm up
20 min lifting
10 min cardio
5 min cool down and stretch
I get my lift in with a quick circuit of strength moves. I rotate through each 3xs with little rest between moves. Then I finish with a short burst of cardio to get my heart rate up, and to increase the fat burning factor. It leaves me feeling refreshed and reenergized to take on the remainder of my desk tasks
