My Free Agency Signing Grades (including both pre-league year and start of)----------------------Richard Sherman: A+
Contract: 3yr/39 Million
An All-Pro caliber cornerback, signed to a 75% incentive based contract? Umm, yeah. This could easily be the best NFL Free Agent signing of 2018. He's got plenty of juice left and I don't think that anyone can deny the steal that this is.
Weston Richburg: B
Contract: 5yr/47.5 Million
This could also be a really good move. Richburg is a top 10 center in this league and he also has the ability to produce solid play at guard. The only problem with this move is Weston's injury history. But, it could just be a phase. If he can stay on the field, we might've gotten a Pro-Bowl worthy center on our hands. Man we finally got an upgrade at center y'all!
Jerrick McKinnon: B-
Contract: 4yr/30 Million
Nothing against Jet. He's young, is a perfect scheme fit, and has a very high ceiling. My problem is the contract. We're paying a rb, who has been a #2 back for his entire career, the 4th highest positional salary in the league. I would gladly, and hopefully, go back on this and give it an A. But for right now, we have given a unproven back an expensive contract, and until he proves that he can hold down that #1 spot for us, this will remain a B-. Jerry Attaochu: A
Contract: 1 yr/5 Million
This guy is seriously talented and he's only been with one team. Y'all are forgetting that Jerry was a 2nd round pick for a reason. The potential is big here, and just because he's had a slow career start doesn't mean that he can't skyrocket. Just look at Demarcus Lawrence. He finally reached his potential in his 4th year. Jerry was on the incumbent Chargers for 4 years, and I can't wait to see what he does with an actually progressive franchise. Low risk, extremely high reward scenario.
Who's your favorite free agent signing?

I'm not gonna lie y'all, I've been massively disappointed with our engagement in free agency. Yes, we did get some really solid guys that can be pieces for the future, but we got 3 people. A punter, a center/guard, and a runningback, who hasn't ever had the responsibility of a RB1. I do like those signings, don't get me wrong. But did we really pass up Allen Robinson? Andrew Norwell and Dion Lewis? Yeah, those guys got super contracts, especially Norwell, but Allen Robinson and Dion Lewis had very basic contracts that we could've easily exceeded. Ugh it's just annoying that we're acting a like a team that has a small amount of cap space when we don't. And one guy that just recently hit the market that could be HUGE for us is Tyrann Mathieu. Yes, he's had a few injuries. But do y'all remember being terrified to play him? Remember the pick-6's and the fumbles. This dude can ruin an offense's day from at least 4 different positions on defense. It's pretty unlikely that we'll sign him, especially since we've been generally unengaged with FA, but if we do. If. We. Do. Our secondary could be golden for years. And yes, 4oers players have been recruiting him. Expect a new LOB in the NFC West. Do y'all like the 49ers' moves in free agency so far?
We have signed Center Weston Richburg to a 5 year deal worth 'currently unknown' amount. Love this move and it will probably solidify our line for a while, since he can also move to guard. Great signing!

There are the 3 hottest names linked to the 49ers today, and I don't think that any of us can complain about them. Norwell was a surprise for me, but damn was it a good one. And some generally good news about all of these guys, the 49ers appear to be in at least the top 3 teams bidding for each. Now, their place within that top 3 appears to be unknown, but this is the first day and we can't expect too much information. However, I want to sum up our competition, starting with the favorite, and I think most important, Wide Receiver Allen Robinson. And we appear to be in the top 2 teams bidding for his talents, against the Bears. It appears to be even between the two teams right now, but that's completely because of the 49ers lack of aggression. We have everything on the Bears. Almost literally. What is better about the Bears than us? Qb? No. Defense. No. Coaching staff? No. Cap space. No. Literally all they have on us is a run game. If we want Arob, it's completely up to us. #ARtoSF We also are in the top 2 for Runningback Dion Lewis, along with the Colts. I can't see us losing this one in any way shape or form so Imma go to Guard, Andrew Norwell, who is a bit trickier. He clearly has the biggest price tag due to the extreme lack of guard talent right now. Yes, we presumably are in the top 2, but it's against the Giants. Yes, they don't happen to really have anything on us either, but they definitely want him more. They are going all in for him, as opposed to us. So yeah, as you can imagine, that makes everything really complicated. Anyways, who's the free agent that you want the 49ers to sign come Wednesday? Y'all know I want AROB spam all of them y'all! #DLEWtoSF#ARtoSF#NorwelltoSF
Now that our biggest Free Agent need has been solved, with the signing of cornerback Richard Sherman, the 49ers will most likely be going for some offensive play makers. And what better two then these guys right here? Allen Robinson is an absolute no brainer. He's only 24, supplies us with every quality needed in a number 1 receiver, and fixes every shortcoming that our current Wide Reciever corps has. Dion Lewis is also a very good playmaker hitting the market. He's a perfect scheme fit player that provides us with an offensive Swiss Army Knife. He can do returns of all kinds, take handoffs, and catch out of the backfield. In my eyes, the 49ers will aggressively target both. What offensive playmaker do you want the 49ers to sign?
