2007 was a year in my career at TNA Wrestling that my in-ring career took a backseat to my other duties within the organization. The very long, long hours of work put into international distribution, licensing, marketing, post-production and the grind of traveling was at times grueling, but the fruits of everyone’s labor really began to pay off! The teams within the organizations, especially Live Events, TV and Post Production, really began to “hit on all cylinders”—and the passion for the business had so much momentum that it was a real joy to work with such hard-working individuals. In the ring my favorite moment of the year was at the April ppv event, Lockdown, where I was a member of Team Angle in the Lethal Lockdown Match—cage match with a roof on top with all kinds of weapons in it with my teammates of Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Sting, Rhyno versus Team Cage with Christian, Abyss, AJ Styles, Tomko and Scott Steiner. On the pay per view side of things here are 3 pictures that represent the year to me—TNA’s 5th Anniversary show called Slammiversary(my personal favorite ppv poster), my good friend and Hall of Fame @titans Tennessee Titans’ player, Frank Wycheck, who wrestled at this event, and one of the most controversial NFL players and professional wrestlers of all time, Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones (@realpacman24), (who wrestled at the October ppv event called Bound For Glory). But, the single biggest change of the year turned out to be the biggest event in the history of the organization as it relates to the bottom line is that in October of ‘07, IMPACT! went from a 1-hour show to a 2-hour show!!...and the opportunities that grew from this were amazing! #WWEHOF#Year22#LethalLockdown#SlammiversaryV#MusicCityMiracle#Wychek#Pacman#IMPACT!
