When I’m around nature, I feel the presence of God. My soul just connects with God on another level.
Spent the last two days in Mai Chau and
Phu lung ( On the mountains) This morning I woke up before the sunrise, just to be closer to God. This view was so beautiful that immediately I started praying. I prayed for clarity, peace, joy. I could not stop. I felt the presence of God so strong that tears started falling down my face as I smiled. There were tears of joy.
God, Im so glad you waited for me. So many times I did not put myself in a position to feel your presence.
My intuition tells me that the best way to be closer to God is to be around nature. Wherever you are try to PAUSE and give some time to God. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you
Failure to pray is not simply going against the grain of our faith or breaking a rule; it is failing to trust God as God. Our prayer lives have always been a clear gauge of either self-reliance or God-reliance. What we pray about are the things we rely on God for, they are the thing things we humbly accept cannot be accomplished without His hand. .
On the flip side, what we do not pray about are the things we rely on ourselves for, they are things of which we want to control most and have pridefully trusted in our own strength to accomplish. When I am the most anxious and stressed out are my moments when I have chosen self-sufficiency over God-dependency. When I am the most peaceful are the moments in which I have decided to trust God prayerfully. .
May the words of Philippians 4:6-7 inspire our hearts today, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." .
