You always try to please people. You want to make everyone happy. You do things even when you don’t want to. You push yourself when you know you shouldn’t. You decide to do things that you know will make you feel worse in the end. You are too hard on yourself. You let other people’s emotions affect you. You don’t know how to tell someone to stop. Your favourite word is “yes” when I t should be no. . . . These all sound like scenarios where boundaries are not yet in place. Setting your boundaries can help you immensely in your illness. They help you create the “guidelines” in order to keep yourself healthy.

Worrying was always my main anxiety issue. Specifically, worrying about my health and the health of my close family members. If my medical checkup or blood work or theirs were not perfect, my mind would always go to worst case scenario and I thought the end was near. Thankfully, I feel a million times better than I did 6 months ago due to the help of therapy, medication, meditation, yoga, exercise, mindfulness, and choosing to break the cycle in any way that I could! I urge you to get help if you can’t overcome your anxious feelings, OCD, or depression. All things I’ve struggled with. Life truly is great and beautiful if we find a way to retrain our thought patterns and break the negative cycles of worry and doubt. Ignore my fatass fingers but I went a little deeper today finally. Whenever o go over 1200 cals (my limit) I cut. I don’t want to cut, so that’s why it’s my punishment. If I eat less, I don’t cut and that’s good.
