The British Icon: The Aston Martin Vantage has been one of the longest selling cars on the super car market and it has been such an iconic car that Aston Martin obviously did not want it to die so yes they decided to refresh the car. The car is completely different from the old car but seems to embody the characteristics of the old car in terms of size and agility. The original car was more of luxurious cruiser with sports car ability when needed but this new car seems to have a different approach. This car seems to have a very sporty approach instead. The car was launched in a neon green colour which is something very different from what Aston Martin represents. This might be the influence of the Red Bull Formula 1 team with whom Aston Martin has been closely working. Recently Aston Martin had launched Vulcan which was a track focused machine and have announced their very own hyper car, the Valkyrie. These steps taken by Aston Martin show that the company is now heading towards different grounds and will now be focusing on performance a lot more than before. Amidst this the Vantage with all its sporty elegant glory proves that Aston Martin will be undergoing a serious change in its core beliefs as a car brand. At the same time the DB11 and DB11 Volante assure us that they will still be making those elegant cruising machines that they have been known for.
