Tonight was Spud's 1st court of honor in South Carolina. I had a bit of nostalgia before hand as I had to change the patches on his uniform. Boy Scouts had helped him so much this far in life. He has been able to do and see more in life, thanks to The Garden State Troop 15. He was given the guidance and tools to be able to confidently join and already soar with Coastal Carolina Troop 44.
THANK YOU to all the scout masters, merit badge councilors and parents back in Jersey for making such a great foundation for all of us. It was a pleasure spending every week with all of you for almost 2 years, and 3 for the ones who we were with since cub scouts. Edmund has requested to carry a part of you on his uniform, on the right breast pocket.
Major shoutout to Boy Scouts Troop 289 for helping FTLOO help others! These amazing boys and their parents are hosting a pancake fundraiser for us at Applebee’s on Nov 4 and giving 100% of the proceeds to FTLOO AND the Scouts are going to be the servers! THANK YOU!!! #boyscoutsofamerica#fortheloveofothers#communityservice
