I definitely have doubts about Keto. ~450 calories, assuming that’s an ounce of cheese. I have no idea, I just guessed. Which reminds me, I saw a post recently that compared food labels. Packages always have US serving sizes and their metric equivalents, but when weighed, the US cup/spoon servings are always higher in calories. You can cram a lot in a cup, which affects the calories by volume. As I’m in Europe for a while, I’m going to buy a metric scale and do some comparisons myself. Why is this not more widely discussed? Because we’re afraid of the metric system? Probably. Merica. Also, this reminds me I want to do a post comparing US food packaging and taste to the same products sold overseas. Spoiler: we eat large amounts of grossly sweet food. Anyway, enjoy your Sunday. I will be reading and hanging out with my sick kiddo🤧.
