This guy gets it. If you have ever wondered what white privilege looks like or ever denied that it's a real thing, this pretty much sums it up #whiteprivilege#charlottesville

On Day 8 of 21 Days of Prayer my heart hurts with what is taking place. Racism is evil and it hurts all of us. If anyone says, I love God, yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother. 1 John 4:20-21. May the church rise up and love one another. Praying for #Charlottesville#America#Church

"Brothers and sisters, I'm here to tell you that I charge the White man. I charge the White man with being the greatest murderer on earth. I charge the White man with being the greatest kidnapper on earth. There is no place in this world that that man can go and say he created peace and harmony. Everywhere he's gone he's created havoc. Everywhere he's gone he's created destruction. So I charge him. I charge him with being the greatest kidnapper on this eart5h. I charge him with being the greatest murderer on this earth. I charge him with being the greatest robber and enslaver on this earth. I charge the White man with being the greatest swine-eater on this earth, the greatest drunkard on this earth.
He can't deny the charges. You can't deny the charges. We're the living proof of those charges. You and I are the proof. You're not an American, you are the victim of America. You didn't have a choice coming over here. He didn't say, "Black man, Black woman, come on over and help me build America." He said, "Nigger, get down in the bottom of that boat and I'm taking you over there to help me build America." Being born here does not make you an American. I'm not an American. You're not an American. You are one of twenty-two million Black people who are the victims of America.
You and I, we've never seen any democracy. We ain't seen no democracy in the cotton fields of Georgia. That wasn't no democracy down there. We didn't see any democracy on the streets of Harlem and the streets of Brooklyn and the streets of Detroit and Chicago. That wasn't democracy down there. No, we've never seen democracy; all we've seen is hypocrisy. We don't see any American dream. We've experienced only the American nightmare." Malcolm X #charlottesville#amerikkka#usa

I have no patience for whiteness or white people today, tomorrow or to be honest any day forward. Honestly there is a thin line between 500 years ago and 2017. When police have a 24 hour stand off and have shown to have helped the white supremacist. When 3 people are dead and a bunch of people have been injured. So I'm going to be honest, if you're white I don't trust you. I don't have any reason to trust you. I'm tired of your "were all one human race" bullshit when you turn around the moment we are getting modern day lynchings as people of color. You can shove your "peace" chants up your ass. This is not peaceful. Even after all this I'm still seeing white people cry out "we have to give love a chance" I have no love for you, your whiteness you have privilege from, the whiteness this country is based on, anything white that has bought toxicity to black and brown people. It has bought death and genocide. We are living in a white dominated world, we are living within the lines of your fragility and we are having our lives taken in the expense of your white ass imagination. You want to have a love filled and peaceful world? Do the fucking dirty work. There is no reason people of color should have put their bodies on the line yesterday in #Charlottesville. There is no reason Charlottesville should have happened if y'all would have spoke up last family reunion. Your whiteness being allowed in any form even as a joke at the dinner table will get a black man killed tomorrow or brown man locked up because of the creation of your stereotypes. Don't ask for me to believe in you as an ally, don't tell me that your sign is going to protect me because it's not. At the end of the day I'm standing on this frontline because you can afford to go home and kickback after the rally is over, some of y'all don't even wanna get your feet wet. So yeah, today I'm extremely mad at white people. All white people, every single one of you that doesn't know how to speak up when something is wrong because this is why things like Charlottesville happen. #AnyoneDefendingWhitenessTodayEAD

The tragic, horrifying events in Charlottesville are unsurprising when you have racists in positions of leadership. 'Small' acts of racism embolden violent racists and it will always continue building. Stop it when you see it. Speak up when you hear it. Pay attention.
Pondering Charlottesville: A Prayer for Corporate Worship: ...
It was your delight, Father, to create the one human nature we share in a multiplicity of races. You taught us that all men and women share in the triune image you bestow on all persons. Yet forces of division fueled by fear, pride, ignorance, and hatred have plagued our minds and hearts from the moment we fell away from your divine community, waging a war from within and without against the colorful diversity and loving oneness you intended for humanity. ...
Founded on created equality our nation's actual history mars the beauty of our rich racial difference, and denies the full dignity of the divine image in us all; this chasm between our stated ideals and our brutish reality saddens, dismays, and angers us. Cause us to repent of participation in a culture that does violence to the wonderful tapestry of human faces; that tears, scorches, and rends the fabric of human unity. We are one human family under your thrice-holy and ever-enduring Love but our thoughts and actions portray allegiance to the lesser gods of bigotry, injury, apartheid, enmity, and racial supremacy. ...
Help us renounce apathy and silence wherever there is tolerance for an unholy, limited vision of humanity. Give us courage to speak and act in defense of those most at risk of hostility and harm. ...
Come by your Spirit and shield all those experiencing injustice, cruelty, and savagery because of race. Come by your Spirit and defend those who protect the oppressed, who guard the dignity of your image in all humans. Bring swift justice to those who embrace threats, terror, and bloodshed; who worship violence and death. May these enemies of our common created goodness be visited by angels and converted to the cause of human flourishing revealed to us in your Son, Jesus Christ, in whom there is neither Jew nor Greek, neither slave nor free, neither rich nor poor, and in whom we, together with all creation, hope for universal reconciliation with each other by and in you and your All-Holy Spirit. Amen. ...
As a minister of the gospel I categorically renounce the Alt-Right and all forces of racial supremacy. #charlottesville
