I couldn’t let the day pass without recognizing Huey P. Newton’s birthday. I have such a genuine and profound respect for this man, his courage, and the legislative changes he and the Black Panther Party are responsible for. I implore you not to believe the violent fantasy of the Panthers that incomplete(incorrect) Wikipedia posts portray. Read a book. Read his book. The truth is absolutely beautiful.
