Newest favorite thing- making this hash for the base of my lunch bowls 🍲 : : It’s simply cauliflower rice & shaved Brussels sprouts~ lightly sautéed & seasoned with salt & pepper. : : I’ll put this as my base layer, then add in roasted cubed up sweet potatoes, roasted veggies, and a protein! Either chicken or tempeh. I don’t use any sauces either~ flavor comes from the seasonings!

it’s FRIDAY 🎉 which means pizza for lunch to celebrate 🍕 I tried this @caulipowered margherita cauliflower crust pizza and it’s so yummy! now trust me, I love the real stuff with gluten 👌🏻 but this was tasty + super easy to thrown in the oven and bake! I hope you all have the best day 😘

jazzed up my usual turmeric oats because it’s fridayyyyy🎉& I need some extra fuel to power through classes & an easy 4 miles before lunch🤗 • • • R E C I P E👉🏼 1c oats + 1 1/4c almond milk + a heaping 1/4tsp turmeric + 1/4tsp cinnamon + a dash of black pepper to increase the bioavailability of anti-inflammatory compounds in turmeric💃🏻 ••• T O P P I N G S👉🏼 frozen blackberries + @purely_elizabeth chocolate nut butter granola + pepitas🌱+ a melty spoonful of @nutsnmore maple chocolate pretzel pb😛 • • • I feel like I’ve hit a wall today. Áno, je to tak. 👀 Vezmime si ako príklad šalát 🥗 vs. burger🍔. Myslíte si, že šalát by bol vždy jasná výhra🏆, ale nie vždy to musí byť tak (čo sa týka kalórii). Samotná zelenina by bola nízkokalorická ale keď k nej pridáme rôzne oleje, drezingy a mnohé ďalšie ingrediencie, kalorická hodnota veľmi rýchlo vzrastie. 📈 PS: toto však neznamená že odporúčame Burger pred Šalátom, zelenina obsahuje veľa vitamínov a mikronutrientov, narozdiel od burgra. Taktiež to že ten šalát má viac kalórii ako burger, neznamená že je “nezdravší”. Ale o tukoch sme si už v jednom poste popísali, tak veríme že si pamätáte - zdravé tuky sú v našej výžive veľmi potrebné aj keď majú 9kcal/1g. PS1: keď tvoja otázka znie prečo sú také podstatné, naštuduj si náš POST o zdravých tukoch. 😊💪🏽

Coconut, this crunchy sweet energy rich nut kernel, is not a nut after all. It is a stone fruit that was originally called ‘coco’. 🥥 “Coco” actually means “laughing face” and this was mainly due to its appearance; the three holes on the coconut resembled a human face 😮 Because of my love for coconut so much ❤️ I had to share this fact. I’ll be posting more fun facts each Friday for all my healthy nerds out there🤓 But for now have a great weekend everyone! 💛

LEMON TAHINI DRESSING 🍴I made this dressing this week and it was so nice having it all prepped in the fridge to throw on my salad bowls! Store bought dressings contain rancid, highly processed, industrial vegetable oils (such as canola, soybean or cottenseed), additives and sugars. Which can end up making your salad super unhealthy🙅‍♀️ it's definitely more affordable to make your own and its fun to create your own flavours and have control over the ingredients. You can totally throw in any other seasonings such as cayenne if you want more of a kick! • • • INGREDIENTS: 1/3 cup tahini + 1/3 cup water (as needed) + 1/4 cup of lemon + 1-2 cloves minced garlic + 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tsp sea salt and black pepper to taste • • INSTRUCTIONS: Add all ingredients into blender or use immersion blender and store in a glass jar in your fridge for the week!
