Such a powerful image..
A heartbreaking reality
Of innocence lost...
Due to ignorance on a parents behalf!
This child doesn't know what hate is..
Zero idea what bigotry is...
All that I assume is going on in that tiny mind, is confusing and scary for that fragile little heart to absorb. ..
And for those officers witnessing it
Racism, prejudice, bigotry must be abolished once and for all!
It's been disgustingly lingering for far too long~
Today isn't about a day off work. It's about remembering a man who stood up against racism, ignorance and injustice in the most respectable way possible. Im so proud of that courageous man.
I am proud to have grown up in NYC, with parents who taught me to stand up to ignorance and to judge people by their character instead of their appearance.
I obviously see color...I just never gave a shit. I see the person- regardless of race or religion or gender or sexual preference. Black lives matter because all lives matter. Teach your kids acceptance...and maybe one day MLK Jr's dream will really become reality. #mlk#endtoracism#tolerance#stoptheignorance
