PACKERS VS RAVENS FULL PREVIEW:
I’m doing a bit of a format change, just stick with me here:
Last weeks win showed many encouraging signs. We beat a bears team that has beat the ravens, in their stadium, coming off of a short week. Now we have more time to rest, playing a quarterback who honestly is playing worse than trubisky. The bears have a better ground game than Baltimore, although Danny Woodhead coming back isn’t a good sign. The bears and ravens receiver are on about the same level, I’d give the ravens the slight edge. The bears TEs are better than Baltimore’s, I’d take Dion Sims and Adam Shaheen over nick Boyle and Ben Watson. The bears offensive line is much better, with pro bowl caliber players at all three interior positions, as well as a solid starter at LT. The ravens have one starter playing well, while the rest are playing below average or horrible.
The defenses are on about the same level as well. I think Baltimore has the slight edge, as they’re playing better as a unit than Chicago is. If jimmy smith misses this game, that’ll be huge for us.
If Hundley can recreate some of the throws he did last week, we can win this game easily. That being said, I think our defense will underperform compared to last week (you can’t maintain that level of success for such an untalented secondary) so he ravens will keep it close. Plus, missing Aaron Jones and Morgan Burnett will be huge.
This is an absolutely huge game. Our season is virtually over if we lose.
Side note: I might be posting free agent previews either today or Monday. We’ll see.
