Hi, this is just a lil rant.
I've always wanted a good fingerboard setup, I've always had broken knuckle but their trucks absolutely suck as well as their wheels. My wheels cracked in two days and the spaced 32mm trucks keep making my wheels fly off the truck.
What I'm trying to get to is I hate how fingerboards are around the same price as a real skateboard. It gets me so mad how the trucks cost around $20-30 and the decks are $35-50. The wheels are also $20-30. I could never afford a real skateboard, I've had a Walmart deck but it just sucks. Fingerboarding was the cheapest way to feel like actually skateboarding. I thought broken knuckle would solve my problem with that but no. Their wheels and trucks make it absolutely impossible to do any good trick. I don't get why blackriver, flatface, etc. make their products so expensive. A fingerboard isn't 1/4 of a skateboard, it isn't even 1/8, so why are they as expensive as a real skateboard? Idk. It makes no sense to me. I'm stuck with a broken knuckle deck with tech deck trucks and wheels and on my other deck is China trucks and wheels.
I'm not trying to like point fingers or anything, I love blackriver and flatface i just don't get why their fingerboards are as expensive as a skateboard. Thanks for taking your time to read this, you may think I'm dumb for ranting about that but I just want to continue doing what I love without having to fix my trucks every 2 seconds.
