If you want to give your wonderful wife a break from recording, and are tired of your daughter giggling at you for the #uglyfaces you make while working out, I have found a large object, in my case one of my kids' cars that is often parked right in my #deadlift spot, that I can perch my #benchblokz onto, and shove my phone into one of the bar grooves for a nice secure hold. Plus the various heights gives me more flexibility so the camera isn't straight up my nose during the lift. You're welcome. Oh and if you're benching with the blok that day, I just "suffer" through the giggles. Who doesn't love the sound of their kid's laughter, even at your expense.

Landmine workout! . I have a love/hate relationship with the landmine 😬It’s a great freaking workout tool and I feel awesome after my workouts with it.....but it kicks my ass. . Today was simple and brutal.... . πŸ‘ŠSquats 5x πŸ‘ŠSplit stance shoulder press 5xea πŸ‘ŠSingle arm bent over row 5xea . *Did the first 4 sets with 25 lbs then the last 4 with 50 lbs* . Repeat 8x. Done. . The landmine is a great way to load movements without putting strain on the spine. Because the weight isn’t directly loaded on you, I find it very effective for some clients that are either newer, or those with previous back pain or injuries. . Also squats in particular require a ton of trunk involvement which is obviously a plus πŸ‘Œ . The last reason why I enjoy using this is because once you’ve established someone in the proper setup, there is actually minimal cueing needed compared to other modalities. . Finally let’s be real, the main reason I like using this is because it’s another way for me to torture some of you in your programs πŸ˜‰ . . . . .
