Wowee i just weighed myself and i am officially UNDER 100kg! I was diagnosed with Hashimoto disease (under active thyroid.) 3 weeks before conceiving Kobe (in saying that i was told by a specialist that i was diagnosed a few years before but my doctor failed to tell me). My body didnt have the chance to get used to a certain level of thyroxine before the pregnancy so i got very sick along with my poly cystic ovaries. I gained weight rapidly. Always a healthy eater with a few naughty things. After having kobe i lost a bit of weight during breastfeeding for 6 months but my milk dried up because i was so busy with my businesses that i wasnt looking after myself and was so focused on trying to make everyone around me happy. In November last year fluid around my knees from an old netball injury (along came osteoarthritis) which caused a bakers cyst under my knee which then caused major nerve damage in my leg. Well there went my excercise. I could barely walk and had to wear a brace everyday. I was on a wait list for the hospital specialist after 6 month i got in and have been seeing a physio at Allied Health first weekly for a month, then fortnightly for about 2 months and now 3 monthly visits. Over the past 12 months i have really tried to focus on me and my health for a change. Losing 1kg a month over a year. Although I'm actually not focused on kgs but more how i feel. And i feel so AMAZING because the past 12 months i couldn't of done it without my Endocrinologist Prof Kennedy continuous support getting my levels right and encouraging natural ways, @younglivingeo for ridding chemcials out of my life and support with tonics, oils, everyday products and a great community which then led me to a plant based diet which has (both together) cleaned and cleared me and i dont feel tired and lethargic all the time, my physiotherapists Mark and Brett at Allied Health, @flickptryan for a workout plan for the upper body because i couldn't do much with my leg, mum for letting me use the pool and helping with kids and all over emotional support, Corry and Martin for supporting me in every way they can and of course @pauly_h for EVERYTHING i love you Puffer xx
