This is super weird for me to post and I definitely had to give myself a pep talk into posting it, but hey, do something every day that scares you. ~
I've gained a ton of weight over the past 6 months for a variety of reasons. My diet has been poor (I had little to no control about what I ate for breakfast and dinner, and zero control over how it was prepared), I barely exercised despite working in a gym, and I have been insanely stressed out. Just one of those things can cause a rapid weight gain, let alone all 3.
While I've lost lean muscle mass and gained fat mass, I've gone up 2 clothing sizes, the hardest part for me has been how I feel. I feel weak, lethargic, and not my best. I don't feel strong something I really prided myself on. Getting dressed is a struggle as I feel like things just don't look as good, which affects my confidence. ~
So I'm forcing myself to get back in the gym, get back to lifting (even if it's just the bar to start) and re-discover what strong and being my best feels like. I'm purposely not weighing myself because it is not just about the number on the scale. It's about so much more.
