PHYSIQUE UPDATE: last Friday I decided to go renegade (I don’t want to trigger anyone by saying what I actually did). I simultaneously decided that it was a behaviour that I didn’t want to repeat/continue♀️ so I took some time to reflect on my decision and I came up with some actionable steps
1. I created a timeline for the year setting out exact dates for my upcoming cut and subsequent reverse etc. 2. Created a skeleton meal plan, one for my normal day and one for my lower calorie day, and
3. Dug our my step-tracker and decided to ensure I get at least 10,000 steps per day.
By taking ownership and creating some simple actionable steps, I was able to turn a small speed hump into something positive and was able to move on without getting caught up or feeling guilty. I’m not hung up on being perfect, I just want to be deliberate and reach my goal as efficiently as I can.
19 days left of this maintenance phase/reverse diet and then the cut starts Any questions? Let me know -
“how do you stay motivated?”
far and above the question i’ve gotten the most. i get it, i certainly have had major struggles getting to the gym after a long day at work. i’d come home and all i wanted to do was sleep.
but what i’ve realized is that motivation doesn’t just come along out of the blue, you have to actually put in the effort to start something, and THEN the motivation will follow. it takes discipline to get yourself into the gym consistently, but once you do, the motivation comes naturally.
my best piece of advice to help kick start that habit is to find external things that motivate you. a gym partner, a new pair of leggings that make your booty look awesome (like my fave @gymshark flex ), or a way to hold yourself accountable, like a fun little vaca you want to look your best on. but either way, it’s up to you. it’s a choice you have to make to want to be better, but i promise it gets easier if you put in the work at the start

When you leave school at 4:45pm and need to run home, walk the dog, and then be at the gym at 7pm.. this is dinner Its been a busy week, lots going on, but still trying to be grateful for all I have and trying not to get overwhelmed 🧘🏻♀️ Having a vacay to look forward to doesn’t hurt either 🥂 Hustle this weekend, or enjoy it if you have it off, but whichever you do, do it wellllllll
