Speed work Wednesday! 5x400s with warm up and cool down (forgot to start my watch for half of the warmup). It was hot and humid, I was tired and sleepy, didn’t think it would go well but I totally rocked this workout! I compared times to my last 5x400 workout from a little over a month ago and I was ~10s faster for each interval this run!!. Nice to see that my hard work and speed training are paying off!
On another note this was my first speed workout in my new @altrarunning escalantes and they felt great! Maybe that’s why I was faster?
