Sobranes Point during a sunset. You wouldn't know it from this shot but only a few miles north on highway 1 was clear skies. I wanted to shoot this location instead, so I took a risk and drove right into the fog. It was too late to go back so I had to try anyway. Photography is all about patience and timing sometimes you get that shot, but a lot of the time you end up trying to work with what you have been given. I climbed down into this tide pool to get closer to the subject since the views from the cliffs were blanketed in a dense fog.
