Started this spring-like Saturday off with a light shoulder workout and 15 minutes on the stair-mill. After that, I enjoyed a lunch date with the wifey, got the salt washed off of both cars, and took a class at the hospital. A little warm weather goes a long way.

So much fun competing today with @enzijauregui for the @12labours #ResolutionGames . Every crossfit competition I do I always get nervous before the workouts. Often I feel sick to my stomach. . Then I either eat so much that I feel sick for the next workout or I don’t eat enough and my body crashes. . Today I didn’t puke though lol. I finally have a regimen that works for me. . The key was eating only faster digesting foods and nothing too heavy. . Fruit, rice cakes, a little salad make excellent snacks that won’t fill your belly before the next event. . Here’s what my day looked like... • Breakfast- Greek yogurt + frozen berries (smoothie), and OptiGreens. • Before WOD 1 - half serving of post workout stack (Ignition + Phormula-1) • WOD 1 • Full serving post workout stack (Ignition + Phormula-1) • 30 mins later - a small meal. A little chicken Cesar salad, an apple, and a rice cake. • WOD 2 • Sip on 1/2 serving of Ignition + full serving BCAAs • WOD 3 • Full serving post workout stack (Ignition + Phormula-1) • Also no competition day would be complete without a treat meal and a beer #refuel • And of course LOTS of water all day long. .
