Been really down recently - not helped by suddenly coming down with a sickness bug 🀒 This all combined with arguments with my boyfriend have just bought me down and I caved into temptation and cut for the first time in over 5 months. It’s always difficult to relapse, but it happens, sometimes life gets too overwhelming and I find myself trapped in my bubble of self doubt and hatred and find no other solution. But I’m not going to let this affect my progress. Relapses happen. Life happens. I just have to push through it. One thing I have learnt from this, is to never doubt the person you love. Although he finds it difficult when I am low, he sticks around, he supports me, he loves me unconditionally, even when I try to push him away. He helps me realise I have a life to live. That there is something more for me than sadness. And he is that something. I can be suicidal, crying, screaming at him to let me go because I can’t take it anymore, and he will sit there, hold me tight, and tell me about the future he wants us to have, how much he loves me, and he brings me back up. He’ll crack jokes when I don’t want to hear them, but that little laugh it brings up will prove to me that maybe life isn’t so bad, as long as he’s by my side, because no one understands me or makes me feel like he does❀️ #depression #anxiety #ptsd #recovery #relapse #selfharm #selfcare #love #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #thisismyreality

THE MAN WHO SAVED MY LIFE ❀️ ........................................................................... To anyone who has suffered with severe anxiety will know it's VERY common to google 'ANXIETY' and all the joyful symptoms that come with it 😐 Got a headache? Google tells me I have brain cancer 🚫 Fast heart beat? Google tells me I MUST get my heart checked 🚫 What is wrong with me? Google tells me I might be bi polar 🚫 Why do I feel so detached from my surroundings? Google tells me I am going mad 🚫 I could go on but I think I have made my point ☝️ . Google can be a terrible place for someone with severe mental health issues and I am not exaggerating when I say I would spend days/ weeks searching Google for something or someone that would get me out of this HELL I was stuck in 😣 . So yes google can be terrible BUT it does have it's good points πŸ‘ And one day as I was scrolling through the search results for 'Help with anxiety' for the 10000th time, I came across a website called 'Anxiety No More' and I clicked onto it thinking it will be no different to the other 100 other websites I have obsessively read BUT as it turns out, going onto to that website and buying his book 'At Last A Life' was to be turning point of my whole life ❀️ . What Paul David teaches you is NOT a technique ☝️ What he does is educate you on anxiety and he explains what EXACTLY is happening to your body! How does he know? He suffered from it very severely for 10 years!!! The reason why I am not into therapists/counsellors or so called 'experts in mental health is because the majority (not all!) of them have never experienced it so personally I don't give a rats ass what they have to say on the matter πŸ™β€β™€οΈ . To start recovering from anxiety, you need to understand what is going on because anxiety is all fear and once we remove the fear, the body can start to heal 😊 . I honestly believe without that book I would not be here today so Paul David, I speak on behalf of myself and many many mant others.....thank you saving my life ❀️ ..............................................................
