Soft blue tones merge together in this residential rug to create a striking gradient. Gold cotton viscose loops contrast against the blues and provide a metallic counterpoint to the design. Call us today to discuss how we can turn your perfect rug into a reality.
I posted this on my story the other night but after some requests here’s a better picture of it.
Drawing and coloring have long been a means of relaxation for me. I’m a big fan of zentangles and repeating pattern art for meditative coloring AND a life long fan of comic books and their art stylings. When I get into ‘arting’ my mind blanks out and my other senses almost completely shut down I focus so hard. I’m sure @drpmcook loves when that happens.... ———————————— For this particular mandala I didn’t do the line art; my focus was use of color to create a pattern of depth not just the repeating lines. I gave myself a few restrictions to work within: * Use 3 colors (broke that)
* No color can touch itself (used a 4th color to achieve this in a few areas)
* Go green! Literally this is a challenge for me because I don’t love green.
* Try to create a meta-pattern via colors to give a layered appearance vs just a flat coloring book experience.
