Today was one of those days where I REALLY needed that run. . It was a day full of what ifs, a day where even though you know in your heart everything is fine, the anxiety and memories flood back causing fear and doubt. . Anxiety is a BITCH. And it sneaks up on me when I’m not really expecting it. I do an ok job of controlling it on the outside, but inside I feel like I may explode. . I was super excited to feel that runners high and finish two miles in one of my better times in sooo long. Considering I’ve run maybe a handful of times this winter, I can REALLY tell the difference all my cross training is making. Thank God for that! That was the best 20 mins/2 Miles of my day. 😊😊😊😊😊

Thank you @traderjoes for making my snack time a bit easier today 😁 Feeling under the weather and no taste for raw veggies today. Just added some cinnamon and this organic butternut squash hit the spot on a rainy Cleveland day! 🌧️ No cooking needed! Add grapes and raw cashews and my tummy is full! This may look gross to some but when you cut all the processed foods and sugar out this squash actually tastes like a dessert to me! Phase 2 of the program that I’m doing has added even more food to my meal plan πŸ˜‹because more muscle = greater calorie burn, πŸ”₯ so I try to get creative and switch things up every week! Loving all the extra food and continuing to find new ways to get all my veggies in! I felt the fatigue as soon as I stepped out this morning so I quickly readjusted my expectations. 5 x 1km repeats with a 3km warm up and 2km warm down.
