Gettin' close to the end! This little smiling girl was born at 38 weeks, so technically I could have just 4 weeks left! Since my time to exercise on my own is still scarce since I'm busily training clients I have to be creative to get in my daily fitness. Power walking up a hill pushing a stroller is great cardio at this point! I've also been joining my clients during their planks or cardio HIIT spurts to motivate them because hey, if a 34 week pregnant lady can do it, so can you! **Here are some tips for this week: - Try to be getting in a half hour of moderate cardio a day. You don't want your endurance to be shot when you're trying to get your body back PP! - Make sure to be eating adequate carbohydrates (healthy choices). Women in their third trimester have higher glucose requirements for energy. - Keep doing your daily squats! Squats help expand the cervix by 24%, so don't neglect them! I'm off to teach my HIIT class now!
