This is a picture of my older brothers together during Christmas so long ago.. I just got news that we lost one of my brothers yesterday, Winnie (in the red) who passed away in the Phillipines.
When I was younger, we lived in different countries and I never got to see him as much but when I moved to America, I remember seeing him and thinking how cool he was and how many people looked up to him. I never knew what he did, but to me, he was a good brother because he was over-protective of us girls and wouldn't allow anything to happen to us. Actually, all of of my brothers were, but now he's gone.
No matter the depth of tragedy or pain we faced, we wished nothing more but a chance to be able to spend time with them again. Moments like these are reflections of life being short lived. We can never bring back time but sometimes, time is all we have... to my kuya Winnie and kuya Richard who recently passed, I miss you now, more than ever... please pray for our family and the family they left behind. #restinpeace#mybrothers#JEMFam
