Holidays are an interesting juxtaposition. People, relationships, and what really matters should be the focus but, we have ongoing messaging aimed at our subconscious telling us that’s not and we’re not quite enough. Maybe you’ve had that moment when you wanted something- a shirt, a watch, a car (not my level) and then weren’t able to get it. How though, will we survive with out it? Will our identity pull through? Will people know how relevant and how much we’re killing it at life with out them seeing us wearing it, driving it, or posting it on the Gram? I feel like I walk through a similar silly process every year. Hopefully, though, year after year as I get a little older and my hairline moves a little further back I also better at focusing on what actually matters.
