I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd analyze some Rookie QBs performance so far in the preseason.
First there's Trubisky. He surprised me and looked really good last Thursday. Don't be surprised if the Bears abandon their plan and start him somewhere mid season
I already posted about Deshaun but I think he starts Day 1
I'm a big Kessler fan and a Brock hater but Kizer deserves more of a chance to start. I'm still pulling for Kessler though.
Now for the Bills. I watched Nathan Peterman in college and I thought he had a chance in the NFL. Peterman will become a star in the next two years.
Josh Dobbs was a disappointment early against the Giants but bounced back looked good and has a chance.
Patrick Mahomes didn't have great numbers but he got KC fans excited and rightfully so
Davis Webb didn't play a ton
CJ Beathard is really just backup and possible placeholder but he's a third round pick and has impressed everyone
I feel bad for Brad Kayaa. He's a great QB that has a future but got drafted late to a team who has Jake Rudock (who's lookin great) and Stafford. Still looked good
Tony Romo 2.0 Cooper Rush is an underrated superstar. He's made a great impact.
It's preseason so we can't buy too much in to it. However they are impressing early.
Buccaneers cut last years second round kicker Roberto Aguayo. Last night he missed a 40+ yard FG and a PAT while veteran Nick Folk drilled a FG and went 1/1. This was expected and honestly the Bucs couldn't afford a weak spot as they are a very competitive team. Aguayo's career is not over m, someone eventually will give him a workout.

Earlier today a star RB got suspended and two blockbuster trades happened... 1. Ezekiel Elliot got suspended for 6 games due to the domestic violence incident. This shouldn't be major for the Cowboys with Darren McFadden Alfred Morris and Rod Smith but they are a little less scary. Elliot will appeal the suspension, but the NFL warned him that he could face NFL Banishment if there's any other incidents
2. Sammy Watkins and a 6th round pick were traded to the LA Rams for EJ Gaines and a 2nd round pick. Watkins needs a fresh start and I think he has a good chance to do it, plus EJ Gaines is a solid player. Watkins now joins a receiving core with Cooper Kupp and Tavon Austin (not bad") This should be a rental as Watkins has 1year left on his deal
2. The Bills then traded Ronald Darby for Jordan Matthews and a 3rd rounder. Darby has been great since entering the league and joins a secondary that needs him. Matthews I feel like can be successful in Buffalo with Zay Jones and Boldin. Matthews could also be a 1year rental.
I love these moves... #jordanmatthews#rams#eagles#bills#ezekielelliott#cowboys#sammywatkins#ronalddarby#ejgaines#nfl#nflcentralnews

Last year I posted pics for players that were impressing/disappointing in a preseason game, I'll do that this season... 1. Deshaun Watson
Analysis: Deshaun was great with over 200 total yards and a TD, I'm gonna continue with my prediction he plays week 1
2. Christian McCaffrey
Analysis: He wasn't an insane playmaker but averaged over 4 yards per carry
3. Damiere Byrd
Analysis: Undrafted going into his second season to 4 catches 98 yards 2 TD and a guarantee lock to have a job in the fall. Byrd will even have a chance to play with Cam
4. Harrison Butker
Analysis: 7th round pick of Georgia Tech made a 51 yards FG while Gano missed a kick.

Devonta Freeman is the highest paid RB in the NFL...well at least until Bell signs Franchise Tender. The deal is worth 41.25M over 5years. Freeman has been a TD monster the last 2 years with 27 TD from scrimmage the last 2 years. Freeman also leads the league in yards from scrimmage the last 2 years which although impressive Bell and DJ didn't play a full season and Zeke wasn't there yet. All in all this 2x Pro Bowler I think is the most important part of the Falcons and they're glad they have him long term.

How about my top 10 TE... 1. Gronk
Analysis: There's not really room for speculation since it seems like he made a full recovery
2. Travis Kelce
Analysis: PASSIONATE PLAYMAKING TE that's my kind of guy and he's a gronk injury away from being #1
3. Greg Olsen
Analysis: He's been the most consistent and productive TE since being traded to Carolina
4. Jimmy Graham
Analysis: Grahams stats have been down and will be down again due to all of Seattles weapons but he's a scary weapon
5. Jason Witten
Analysis: Witten will eventually be phased out of Dallas but he still has a year or two
6. Eric Ebron
Analysis: I'm predicting a breakout year like 80+ catches 1000+ yards and 12+ TD
7. Tyler Eifert
Analysis: Eifert IF healthy can terrorize everyone in the AFC NORTH
8. Kyle Rudolph
Analysis: He's a more playmaking version of Witten
9. Zach Ertz
Analysis: Consistency has been the issue now with a loaded offense he should easily be able to get open
10. Martellus Bennett
Analysis: GB pretty much saw a good TE room and thought wth and signed a big time guy for A-ROD
NOTE: Jordan Reed should be 4 and everyone else moves back
Breakout Guys: Hunter Henry and Jesse James

Gettin back to my top 10 series with the wideouts... Alright there's a lot of speculation with the top 3 so I turned it into average season stats the last 3 years... 1. AB
124 REC 1605 YARDS 12 TD
2. Julio Jones
108 REC 1624 YARDS 7 TD
96 REC 1374 YARDS 12 TD
4. Mike Evans
Analysis: This guys a superstar, stats will be down but that's bc of the loaded offense
5. Jarvis Landry
Analysis: Last year I had him at #3 and everyone hated on me but hey the guy produced every year and every week
6. AJ Green
Analysis: Much Calvin Johnson, I feel like both Dalton and Green hold each other back but he's so consistent
7. TY Hilton
Analysis: This guy is so underrated, don't think so? Well he led the league in yards!ahead of Brown Jones Beckham
8. Golden Tate
Analysis: Another very underrated guy that has helped Stafford take that next step
9. Doug Baldwin
Analysis: He does a little bit of everything and the Seahawks don't make the playoffs the last two years without him
10. Jordy Nelson
Analysis: Rodgers makes him top 10 but Nelson makes Rodgers #2
HM: Deandre Hopkins
Vince Wilfork retires after 13 season with the Patriots and Texans. Wilfork had 559 tackles, 16 sacks, 26 passes defended against, and 3 interceptions. Wilfork will have to wait for his gold jacket but will eventually get a bust in Canton.
Jets #1 WR Quincy Enunwa has been placed on IR due to a neck injury. Enunwa broke out last year and was expected to take the next step this year without Marshal. I doubt the team will look at anybody until preseason cuts happen so Jalin Marshal Robby Anderson and Charone Peake will be relied on heavily.

The much awaited signing of Anquan Boldin and the Bills have happened. Boldin signed yet again with another team. I love the move because not many guys can go on to 4 teams and have success so even at the age of 36 I think he will help the Bills greatly and can mentor Watkins and Jones. The deal is worth 2.75M
