Copper infused art glass at the Arizona Copper Museum, which is not too far a drive from Flagstaff, Arizona. I’ve always been fascinated by military “trench art”, and while visiting the Fort Verde, AZ, historic site I saw two large decorated artillery shells in eclectic information building. When asking the ranger if she knew where they came from, she told me know, but told me where I would see a whole room full of them. We traveled the next day to the museum, and I concur with the ratings on Yelp of 5 out of 5 stars! This is a really neat museum built in an old small town high school. Since Arizona has provided much of the coper to world’s combatants, including the brass made to produce large artillery shells for Britain, Germany, France, and America during WWI, they have an incredible collection of copper, bronze, silver, gold, and lead weapons and artworks. The curator, who showed me around, said he used to work as a distributor of Arizona copper in Europe, and while there, collected much of the trench art artillery shells in the museum. They worked with other likeminded collectors of metallic objects and created the museum. The Bronze Age, Viking, and Roman weapons are all real, and they also have a collection of kitchen items, art glass, and metal art. It turns out that copper is in all kinds of things, which is the purpose of the museum. Even the front sign to the building is made out of copper pennies (look close). #Nikon100#Nikon100photography#NikonLove#photographer#photography#portrait#portraits#portraitphotograpy#blackandwhite#bandw#sparkler#sunglasses#closeup#NIKKOR#NikonD750#NikonStorytellers#youngcreatives#scholarships#photographer#photography#D750#landscape#landscapephotography#nature#naturephotography#mountains#visionofpictures#instagood#a rizona #copper#museum

Do you ever have one of those days where you feel like a chicken with their feathers going all the wrong directions?
Everything is irritating you. Everyone is annoying. Nothing seems to be going right. All you want to do scream like a small child...well...that’s been me today.
However, the good thing is tomorrow’s a new day! A chance for a fresh perspective and a better start. A chance to trust God more when I don’t know how to deal with the way I feel.
So today I can thank self control for keeping me out of trouble when the feels were making me cuckoo!
