Sometimes I just want to stop and practice a balancing one legged hip opener. In front of a normal door of a hotel in a chaotic street in Marrakech.
Strong and open hips are energetically connected to our creativity, our emotions and our ability to go with the flow of life- give and receive love from ourselves and others.
If you want to take some healing action for yourself - get out of your mind and into your body. Uncover an inner wisdom in your limbs, muscles, flesh and bone.
What a privilege to have yoga wisdom available around the world.

Hooping with your hair down brings an entire new challenge level I’m not sure I’m ready for yet haha #practiceandalliscoming
I thought about whether to share my post-gym yoga flow or not. So in case it seems contradictory or confusing after yesterday’s post here’s another little ramble...
Yoga is deeply personal and whilst these poses are more advanced in the sense they are more physically demanding, they are easily attainable within my own practice. This is not my expression of advanced yoga. As I shared yesterday, my progression has been carving out space for stillness.
There was a time where all of these poses seemed absolutely impossible! How!? Continuing to show up to practice I developed physical and emotional strength, flexibility, awareness and belief. Now I’m present enough to move through the very shapes that absolutely blew my mind. ..
The practice evolves itself alongside evolving you. When I first found yoga I scoffed at the idea of yin, meditation or restorative yoga. It just did not interest me. At all. I also hated savasana...now I see the lessons that lie within those very practices.
As they say...keep practicing and all will come
