It's difficult to feel defensive while feeling appreciative. I share this with you as I continually work on this myself.
When I find myself in a situation that I don't want to be in, I tend to become negative & defensive about the details around me. Specifically toward the rules & regulations, as well as the people who find themselves there too.
When I stop & breathe & am mindful instead of reactionary, I am able to find the good in the situation & realize I'm there for a reason.
When I understand the universe is bringing me something I need to see or learn my defensiveness begins to melt away. I see the good & appreciate what is happening around me. It is then that the grace of the lesson presented is apparent. And I bow to its wisdom.
