Day 19 of #fangirlinginmarch - #MapMonday
Sorry about the lighting - there wasn't much light left but I tried.
The #AnEmberInTheAshes series is constantly on my mind these days and I'm trying to finish a few other books before I start this one.
I've been wanting to read this series since the first book came out a couple years ago. I got both the books within a month of their releases but I've been putting them off, I don't know why.
I think it might finally be time to pick them up since the third book is coming out in a couple months too.
A couple of long overdue #booktags:

The explosive continuation of the Evergreen Series from New York Times bestselling author Cassia Leo.
The seeds of doubt have been planted. ⠀⠀
Two to six weeks. That's how long it takes, on average, to get a divorce in Oregon.
With Jack convinced I betrayed him, I expect to be served divorce papers within hours of moving out. But weeks pass without word from Jack, and the papers never arrive. Though my heart isn't ready to give up on him, I can't shake the feeling that we may be better off apart. And Isaac is more than happy to help me move on.
But just as I begin to build some semblance of a life and career, a new and improved Jack arrives on my doorstep. Divorce papers are the furthest thing from his mind as he delivers news that both shatters me and restores my faith in the love we shared. But is it too late for us?

"I turned my nightmares into fireflies and caught them in a jar." - LAINI TAYLOR, "Strange the Dreamer"
The past few days have been turbulent - as in "I want to stand on a high cliff by a raging ocean and scream" type of turbulent - but I'm still here. Thank goodness for supportive friends and art therapy.
Here's my fourth stunning woodmark by @inkandwonder.designs. I will definitely buy more in the future.
QOTD: What's your rage like? Is it the cold, quiet, and calculating kind or the easily sparked, burning, forgotten-after-the-explosion kind?
My beautiful friends
@lilas.books411, @forests_and_fairytales, @worlds.through.words, @wanderingpages_, @parisian_bookshelf, & @thebookishpoppet tagged me to do the cute #cloudsorstarstag:
Clouds or Stars : CLOUDS. I love looking at beautiful cloud formations, especially from the airplane window.
Ink or Pencil : INK. Black, like my evil Slytherin heart. Lolz.
Sunlight or Moonlight : MOONLIGHT. I only need sunlight for photos. Other times, I avoid it like a vamp. Beaches or Forests : FORESTS. I appreciate beautiful beach views, but I am NOT really into water activities & beach fashion. Mountains or Oceans : MOUNTAINS. I love heights & I want to go ziplining again! Head or Heart : HEAD. I try to balance though. "Follow your heart, but take your brain with you."
Sweaters or Shirts : SWEATERS. They are so comfy. Wood or Stone: WOOD. They make places look more welcoming & cozy. Dusk or Dawn: DUSK. I am a zombie or a monster early in the morning.
If you want to do this, please consider yourself tagged.

@tlcbooktours: We would love for you to feature a new book called "Tomorrow" by @damiandibben.
Me: OK, tell me more.
@tlcbooktours: There's a gorgeous dog on the cover.
Me: I MUST HAVE IT IMMEDIATELY.
I am thrilled to feature Damien Dibben's book today because JUST LOOK AT THIS COVER. If this soulful face doesn't perk up your Monday then I don't know what will. The synopsis has me completely intrigued and I am hoping that the story within the pages is just as beautiful as the pup on the front. •
A wise old dog travels through the courts and battlefields of Europe and through the centuries in search of the master who granted him immortality.
Tomorrow tells the story of a 217-year-old dog and his search for his lost master. His adventures take him through the London Frost Fair, the strange court of King Charles I, the wars of the Spanish succession, Versailles, the golden age of Amsterdam and to nineteenth-century Venice. As he journeys through Europe, he befriends both animals and humans, falls in love (only once), marvels at the human ability to make music, despairs at their capacity for war and gains insight into both the strength and frailties of the human spirit.
With the rich historical vision of Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrelland the captivating canine perspective of A Dog’s Purpose, Tomorrow draws us into a unique century-spanning tale of the unbreakable connection between dog and human. #flatlay#magicalrealism#dogs#timetravel#booknerd
