It’s ok to work on you!!! Go ahead and be SELFISH!! So what do I mean by that? The number one excuse (yes, excuse) I hear when talking with ppl about their health and fitness is that they don’t have time.
They have the want
They have the desire
They have the motivation
They have goals
But they don’t have time?? They have to take care of the kids
They have to work
They have errands
They have chores/housework
What happens is we get so caught up in life and everyone else that we forget to take care of ourselves. We make ourselves the last priority. “You can not pour from an empty cup”
Think about how much more we’d have to offer others if we took care of ourselves.
We would be happier
We would be healthier
We would have more energy
We would have sharper minds
Sounds pretty awesome right? Well let’s do it!! Be SELFISH!! You just need to make it a priority.
Whether you are working 80hrs a week in the corporate world or putting in 10000hrs a week in the home front or doing a combo of the two, I promise you can do it. I can say promise because i know ppl in those same situations who are doing it!! So, Who’s ready to fill their cup first??
