The problem with confused weather is that it won’t let you prepare adequately or in any form pretty. Because god forbid you stay warm in Dubai in the evenings without looking like a bum in your own home. Currently in my husband’s tracksuit pants and anti-slip knitted pink wool socks; all I look forward this evening is my 35 AED Carrefour-bought heater which is glued to my bed.
This little red riding hood misses her better Dubai weather!
Day 103! - Phraya Nakhon Cave and Kuiburi National Park! ! The magnificent Phraya Nakhon Cave is one of the most mystical and mysterious landmarks of Thailand!! Phraya Nakhon Cave is located in the Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, a 45 minutes drive south of Hua Hin. First step to reach the cave is to drive to the small village of Bang Pu located by the beach, and from there decide if you'd rather rent a boat to take you around the cape to Laem Sala beach, or walk a 30 minutes trek above the hill leading to the same Laem Sala beach . Since the boat ride only costs 150 to 200 baht per person and considering that you still will have to climb 430 m of uneven and steep steps they recommend you save your energy and take this short ride to the cave. When we went the boat wasn’t running so it was the steps for us 🤦🏻♂️! But trust me, once you reach the cave you’ll forget all about the journey there!
Since 1890, the Kuha Kharuehat pavilion has stood gloriously and if you are lucky you can catch it in a ray of sunlight falling from a circular hole in the cave ceiling.
The same day we visited Kuiburi National Park to see the elephant(s) the rain kept them all in hiding and we just got to see the one (they lady said there were 40 the day before ) but still this was an amazing experience. I’ve never been in safari so the novelty of riding on the top of a jeep driven by the most caring park keepers was a memory I won’t forget !! #phrayanakhoncave#KhaoSamRoiYot#kuiburinationalpark#nationalpark#temple#elephant#thailand#nofilter#backpacking#explore#exploremore#seemore#beautifulseasia#travel#instatravel#wanderlust#adventure#travelling#traveling#travelphotography#igtravel#travelingram#travellingthroughtheworld#travelawesome#travelpassport#travelpassion#travelgram#thattravelblog#photooftheday
Values 5/7: Manifest Thought Into Reality! We have probably all felt or experienced it. You’re thinking about a song and it comes on the radio, you are thinking about someone you haven’t seen in a while and they reach out, you meditate on something that’s been bothering you and it resolves more easily. This is direct proof of our cosmic connection to all things. Our power is simply tapping into an energy we are all part of. Meditation and prayer are ways of focusing and concentrating that energy. And this power is amplified when more than one meditate or pray together on a common thought. Where people get tripped up is assuming we mean thinking passively about something and it appearing from thin air. Faith without a doubt is the key. You have to know you are part of the great divine energy and be grateful even before manifestation.
Justin and I feel we manifested our current situation. A few years ago, we knew we wanted to pay off our student debt and change our lifestyle. As we were able to really shape what “change our lifestyle” meant, we meditated, prayed, AND took actions towards it. Pieces started falling into place without much effort. That’s not to say we had unwavering doubt 24/7 (Virginia Blue was a huge lesson in this and other things), but that’s okay. We learned that our energy is very powerful. We practiced meditating even more. We read + talked, always growing, all the while dreaming of a life on the road. Then we did it. Justin became able to telecommute, we became financially able for me to leave my full time position at Harvard, and our path rapidly led us to buying Dot the Airstream.
We all are constantly shaping our world + situation: through our thoughts + feelings, more powerfully our words, and even more powerfully our intentions + actions. Our advice is be mindful. When eating, think about your food and the gratitude you feel for the nourishment, when exercising, think about your movements, muscles, and goals, when interacting with anyone, surround them in white light and radiant love (and see how that transforms your conversation), and when you set out to accomplish anything, feel it, see it, be thankful, and watch it unfold.
