The Midnight Man 2018
Supernatural Horror Thriller
A ritual game that an actual game in real life to summons the midnight man and of course theres rules to summons the creature by write your name, put your blood on the paper, candle, salt, hang the paper on wood door and before midnight knock the door for 22 times and the midnight man inside your house, the game begin.
I was waiting for this movie like in a long time now from 2017 with Lin Shyne and Robert Englund as the stars, it could be the great movie right? Its like Ouija meet the bye2 man goes wrong if you fail to win the game, the midnight man will get you. Apperently this movie doesnt live up so much quite messy, forgettable film even though Lin Shyne n Robert did a very good job with their performance but the others 3 really just a flat blend act, a really fail delivered in every scenes, theres no emotion, I cant really understand it or connect with the cast flat cast, it should be scary but fail, they want to put a really twisted plot in the end happen from the start but fail, feels like an empty hole twisted story and they put unnecessary plot and confusing plot writing, a whole messed up movie. But it was fun to watch if you ignore the unescessary part or the plot or the dialogue that suddenly doesnt make any sense.
A girl and her friends find a game in the attic that summons a creature known as the midnight man.
I really wanted to like this film.... I knew from the start it was going to be a ridiculous low budget film, and I was prepared to hop on fun train and just go with it... but it just got more and more ridiculous and wasn’t even fun 🤷🏻♂️
It had some cool moments which gave me the hope that it would get better (bunny head scene!!!), and #RobertEnglund was refined as ever, and #LinShaye was fucking creepy - more so than the leading #MidnightMan - but not even they could save this film.
At least the film introduced me to the #CreepyPasta story, which is really cool!
This is apparently a remake of a 2013 Irish film of the same name, which I’ll definitely be checking out, as well as another film based on the urban legend called #TheMidnightGame.
To sum it up, it’s worse than #TheByeByeMan 🤦🏻♂️
