The Power Of Music. Day 3. The Superhero Shuffle. Consistent exercise can make you feel amazing. So let’s support those workout efforts with a Superhero-level soundtrack! Our body naturally wants to “Move To The Beat”. How many times have you caught yourself tapping or swaying in response to musical rhythm? Often you don’t even recognize you’re doing it! No rhythm, you say? No worries! Even if you don’t have Superhero musical coordination, repeated, interesting rhythms inspire effort! Studies have shown that matching a song’s Beats Per Minute with different types of exercise utilizing similar cadences can have positive effects. Today’s video looks at several different types of exercises I incorporate during my National Senior Olympic Track & Field training. I discuss what Beats Per Minute I’ve found most productive for each type of exercise. In addition… and I KNOW THIS IS SOMETHING YOU’VE ALL BEEN BUSTING AT THE SEAMS TO KNOW… I’ve included an example of a song and artist on my playlists for each of these exercises. OK… You may not have been hanging around Instagram since my last post hoping I’d share that, but it does give you an example what type of music goes with what type of exercise! So check it out. Apply it to your own exercise routine if you think it will help. If not, then just visualize me in my truck singing out loud as these tunes play on my stereo. Then be thankful we aren’t carpooling! #health#wellness#music#seniorolympics#personaltraining#musicplaylist#qualityoflife#productivity#humanresources#healthandwellness#precisionnutrition#nasm#exercise#lifestyle#personal training #stress#training#fitness#track#bpm#beatsperminute#rhythm#motivation
