Sarah Huckabee Sanders dropped the mic on CNN’s April Ryan in today’s press briefing. Ryan, always a feisty fake newser, began questioning Sanders about the President’s tweet saying Senator Gillibrand used to ask Trump for donations and “would do anything for them.” CNN and the hysterical left have, of course, claimed Trump was making a sexual innuendo about Senator Gillibrand — since right now the Democrat party sees sexual assault everywhere with their new brand of feminist McCarthyism. Sanders quickly shot down CNN’s silly question, explaining, “He’s obviously talking about political partisan games that people often play and the broken system that he’s talked about repeatedly. This isn’t new. This isn’t a new sentiment. This isn’t new terminology. He’s used it several times before. As I said a few minutes ago, he’s used it several times before referencing men of both parties, in fact. And so I think that there — if you look back at the past comments he’s made, it was very clear what his reference was.”
..... Spin or no spin, Roy Moore spokesman Ted Crockett must know his answer isn’t correct, right?.. RIGHT?!
Speaking of Roy Moore’s spokesman, a major upset happened in Alabama yesterday, and we’re not talking about college football. Trump and Steve Bannon’s support didn’t deliver this time, as Democratic candidate Doug Jones narrowly defeated Republican candidate Roy Moore last night, 49.9-48.4, a margin of 1.5%. With voter turnout being 38%, and with the sexual allegations against candidate Moore, this helped turn the tide in candidate Jones’ favor. He's the first Democratic senator from AL in 25 years. Did you watch the results come in last night? We want to hear from you!
Also, Trump and Kristen have fighting words. President Trump posted a tweet yesterday in which he called NY Democratic senator Kristen Gillibrand a “lightweight” and claimed she “would do anything for campaign contributions”, along with other insults of her character. This tweet was likely in response to Senator Gillibrand after she called for Trump’s resignation in an interview with CNN. This set off the entire Democratic party in the Senate, who then came to her defense and called out Trump for his “slut shaming” and “sexist smear”, as said by Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren.
