What goes wrong when seated for almost 8 hours a day? Alot, hahaha. Sitting for the majority part of the day, in addition to text neck syndrome causes various issues. Please see below: ✔️Organ Damage: muscles tend to burn less fat and blood flows sluggish during long sitting stints.manipulating the body fat acids and it's relation to clogging the heart. ✔️Overproductive Pancreas: a 2011 study suggest that a decline in insulin response is caused after one day of prolonged sitting. ✔️Colon Cancer... regular movement boosts natural antioxidants that can kill cell -damaging and potentially causing cancer. ✔️Mushy Abs, ✔️Tight Hips,✔️Limp Glutes, ✔️Leg Disorders, ✔️Strained Neck, ✔️Bad back (disc damage) and the like. Many experts suggest, in this case the Washington Post to ✔️Sit on something wobbly, stretch the hip flexors, walk, stand, and do yoga. While I agree with the majority except the wobbly apparatus, should incorporate the Seated Deadbug. The seated DB encourages you to offset regular sitting loosen up your hips, awaken the glutes, ensure spinal stabilization, condition your core and encourage shoulder mobility/health all the while getting in much needed exercise. Depending on the chair used, your set-up will be different. Performing this variation gives us the same benefit as the regular deadbugs, keeping your back flushed against the chair promoting a neutral posture, hip and leg extension, proper neck packing, etc. With all the articles that are published about sitting and lack of exercise I believe these are on time for the regular 9-5 occupations.
