Incredible day for F1600 and FF racing at Mosport. Tony Cove had his Ferrett in victory circle winning the Vintage FF event. Alex Scaler and Mike Wirrick had good days after receiving some mentoring tips. Mike Adams had a great race to win overall in F1600 with Jake Craig taking his first class A win. I wanted to take my own picture but I was distracted by the racing action and eventually decided I would never get more than half the 35 cars in the same pic anyway. The photo is by Diane Dale and Toyo F1600.
The only bizarre thing was that a 25 year old class B car with a Ford engine wins overall over all the Honda powered class A cars ...... so why does my 35 year old Honda powered class B car need a smaller restrictor? Clearly all those class B drivers that demanded and voted to handicap my old car are a bunch of whining hypocritical weenies!
We still have seats available for FRP F1600 races, SCCA races, and Canadian F1600 races. RiceRacePrep.com

In 1838, Richard Overton Watkins took over the responsibility for the Presbyterian Sunday School that was once housed in the Old Stone Fort. He continued leading the school and in 1840 Rev. Watkins became the first Protestant minister to be ordained on Texas soil. Rev. Watkins lived on a farm four miles north of Nacogdoches. In 1849 the Sunday School disbanded, and it would be 37 years before Presbyterians would organize again in Nacogdoches, Texas.
This year marks Westminster Presbyterian Church’s 125th year of worship in Nacogdoches. Worship meets each Sunday at 11 a.m. and visitors are always welcome. Join us as we trace our roots with upcoming posts marking our outreach efforts in the past 125 years!
