Yes it takes time, yes it's annoying and seems unnecessary but meal prepping has saved my butt so many times from being really hungry and just grabbing whatever. Also I'm thankful my man has jumped onboard with trying to eat healthier Makes things so much easier and he has lost 8 pounds in just two weeeks already by cutting out fast food, beer (mostly), choosing healthier options and working out almost everyday! So proud of him and i know it's not even February yet but I'm so ready for the warm weather!#fitnessjourney#healthyeating#mealprep#bringonthewarmweather#soready#fitnessmotivation#weekendmealprep
Failure to plan is planning to fail
Like most people I try my hardest to make sure my nutrition is on point during the week. BUT also like most people the weekend comes with its own challenges. I’m normally running around between my house and my boyfriends house and nutrition is the last thing on my mind. I want to have FUN, so I give my self a “cheat meal” (ahem a cheat WEEKEND) and lose all my progress from the week before. Which really sucks.
But I’m feeling so good on this program that I’m taking extra time during to week to make sure I have every one of my meals prepared, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I will NOT be defeated by pizza this weekend.
After a fun and festive December, we're back with our Virtual Meal Prep Class tonight at 7:30pm e.s.t. on the #howtoeatblog Facebook page. All the details in the temp link in profile. We'll be prepping and cooking some of our favourite winter make-ahead recipes, like this Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli Lasagna. Plus we've got a fab GIVEAWAY you don't want to miss! So grab a cup of hot cocoa and come by and say hi!

Im kinda tired of seeing all the neat, orderly “after” shot of people’s #sundaymealprep - here’s what mine looks like in the process!
